Editor – Amanuel Sahilu

Amanuel is double majoring in Philosophy and Neurobiology, and has been fascinated by both subjects since as far as he can remember. What got him into both fields was originally the “Mind-Body problem”, probably the most famous philosophical chestnut in the study of mind. While the problem has “dissolved” in his own mind, he still want to study neuroscience for greater understanding of the brain, and philosophy to expand his thinking about the brain’s true characteristics.

Within philosophy, he is interested in ethics, philosophy of science, aesthetics, religion, decision theory, and language. He’s currently involved in the Aquadro Lab as a student researcher, creating gene edits in flies to better grasp the interaction between their reproductive system and a bacteria called Wolbachia.
