Every year, 5 professors battle it out for whose discipline deserves preservation in the event of a global apocalypse.

This years Apocalypse Debate was hosted on November 6th, 2025 on Cornell University’s main campus, inside of Uris Hall G01. The featured subjects included Mathematics, Philosophy, Comparative Literature and Biology. The Devil’s Advocate won the popular vote, and was selected as the winner of the debate.
